Anita Bell

Founder of Studiobell is a talented and creative designer of some 20 years. She has worked on a series of extraordinary design projects in the commercial and residential sectors in London and Australia.

Terence Conran was quick to recognise Anita’s distinct visionary eye in 1993 where she devoted 12 years working on Conran’s large projects including store openings in London and Hamburg. Her work involved close liaison with architects, contractors and working within tight deadlines to create immaculate show stopping store openings. The projects included creating dramatic window displays, designing furniture and fixture layout, choosing textiles for soft furnishings and window treatments, paint colour schemes, lighting, carpets, plants and accessories.

In Australia, Anita worked on a number of creative projects in Melbourne and Sydney which included designing interior schemes for leading Homeware and Fashion Stores. Her designs then became templates which were rolled out to their other stores across Australia.

Anita’s strengths are translating the client’s vision into creating beautiful, refreshing and unique spaces that encourage people to feel inspired and at the same time at ease.
