Assemblages is a collection of artworks created using unusual found, recycled or foraged materials.
A great deal of play and experimentation has gone into the creation of these pieces.
By selecting small espresso cups and stringing them together with hemp twine they come to resemble a bunch of barnacles dragged up from the sea.
The barnacle artwork includes around 60 espresso cups. The feel and quality and form of the china espresso cups suggests similarities with sea shells.
Multiply is an artwork created by using china plates that have been carefully drilled and threaded together with textile ties.
This wall artwork was created by painting a collection of twigs and various wooden spoons in acrylic artists paint. These were then attached straight onto to the wall. This piece is looking at connections and derivation; in our lives and with nature.
